The two drawings that I have decided to do for my optional posts are the Shoe Drawing and the Escher Drawing.
The top picture is of my shoe drawing.  We drew these from looking at our actual shoes as a model.  We created depth in the drawing with our shading and value, as well as making the closer shoe on top of the further one.  By drawing the back shoe lighter, it creates the appearance of the first shoe being in front.
My second picture is of the MC Escher inspired drawing.  This peice uses three point perspective to make the building appear as if it is coming up from the earth.  The three point perspective causes the building to taper as it gets further away from you.  We extended the paper with extra sheets so that the perspective would look more realisitic.
