Acrylic Landscape

The Painting that i made has several layers of composition.  The layers are the background, middleground, foreground and the sky.  Aptmospheric perspective was used in the mountains.  With this technique, you can see the shade of the mountains lower in intensity as they go back.  I added in a light source by shading sides of the mountains and giving the umberella a shadow.  I used a variety of brush strokes also.  For the sky i used dabbing on the clouds and horizantal strokes on the blue parts. I used curved brush strokes on the sand. I also did this for the water.  I used value on the sides of the mountains, which is what allowed me to make a light source coming from the right side.
